Today’s Take Sponsors finally get paid on the way out: Apax moves to buy Warburg Pincus's stake in Dutch telecom Odido, Rexel and Eaton take Audax's and Oaktree's industrial assets off their hands, and Greenbriar circles Spectrum Control. Private credit's retail queues ebb but remain above the gates while KBRA finds middle-market borrowers still stretched, and law-firm notes flag continuation-fund disputes, the Soroban tax ruling and untested unitranche splits. Underneath it all, the 10-year Treasury yield has pushed to 5.21%, the highest since 2007. 20 stories

The reported deal would give Apax full ownership of the former T-Mobile Netherlands and hand Warburg Pincus a clean exit at a €6.5bn valuation. In a year short of large realisations, a sponsor-to-sponsor buyout of this size is a rare full exit, and a marker for how European telecom assets clear when strategic buyers stay on the sidelines.

As of Sep 29, 2026, before the open. The 10-year Treasury yield is updated to Monday's Sep 28 close of 5.21% as reported by CNBC (other sources print 5.21%-5.24%; the intraday high was the highest since 2007). The 10-year sparkline is carried unchanged from the previous edition and does not include this reading. The ICE BofA US High Yield option-adjusted spread is updated to 280bp, the FRED reading for Sep 24, the latest we could find. The Fed funds upper bound (4.00%, FOMC Sep 16) is unchanged since the last edition. The sixth-cell figures are carried at their last published readings: PitchBook's end-2025 NAV in funds ten years or older and Evercore's H1 2026 secondaries volume. The fourth cell is today's Audax-Rexel deal value from Power Technology.
