Reading the links

Every headline here links out to the original reporting, and those sources differ in what they let you read. We mark each one so you know before you click. Register is the one worth acting on — those sites cost nothing but want an account, or will let you read a few pieces a month and then stop. Today’s Take Widening credit spreads and AI-debt worries lead a lighter Monday slate, with Blackstone's softer quarter and its chip-linked lending, direct lenders pushing back on the stress narrative, a record Treasury proposal on institutional homebuying, and law firms and the IMF weighing in on private-credit valuation and retail access to private markets. 18 stories

Global credit spreads have widened to their highest level in about seventeen months as doubts about the AI buildout move from equities into debt markets.
